I imagine that in a health crisis the hospitals and clinics would fill up fast. There would be no more room, shelters would be set up in schools and churches as people would flood into the towns and cities looking for help. Sick people would have to be separated from healthy people in the shelters and people would have to know where to go. I would organize my group of people to direct people to the proper shelter, and supplies to the hospitals and shelters by finding out what is needed and to… Continue

The idea of fear being a solution and not the problem surprised me. You always think that you're supposed to get rid of fear usually by saying something like, "Don't be afraid." This is actually making the situation worse. It now makes sense that by legitimizing the fear you are putting it to good use in a way people can handle it and not react in a state of panic. This way brings some focus to the problem. It is so important to establish trust when communicating, especially in times of crisis.… Continue

Words of Wisdom

It is the year 2064 and I am 100 years old. It is my duty to leave these words of wisdom to you so that you may know them then pass them on when it is your time to do so. When I was young most people were foolish, they thought it was fine to have more and more of everything even when it wasn't necessary, it was just to have. Most people disregarded the warning signs the earth gave us. A few saw the signs and spoke of them, but for the most part people did not listen. we lost a lot of the… Continue

Tradional Medicine

In Oaxaca Mexico traditional medicine people who happen to be mostly women are now able to come together and collaborate. This has been a long and lengthy struggle for them. They can now catalog plants and herbs, and how to use them. They now have an overall health program in place where training for courses and workshops focusing on medicinal plants and traditional practices can be found. There is also a council of traditional medicine where their medicine is recognized. This is a great… Continue

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
