IMAGINE8-When i'm 100

I think that by the time I am 100 I will been incredibly wise and experience with life. I would pass down all my gardening knowledge and recycling knowledge as an attempt to help keep the earth green and healthy. I think that at that time pollution might be a problem so maybe my knowledge would help. I would make sure to list a lot of details about gardening etc kind of like a list of step by step instructions.

LEARN7-How to deal with a Crisis

I believe that a major crisis that could occur in my community is flooding due to a hurricane. The area that I live in is very near water and is low lying. We already have minor flooding issues but I believe they will get worse. I think that we should have pumps and other ways to drain the water ready so that we will be prepared if this happens. I also think that my neighborhood should have a easy way to communicate to each other. It will help spread urgent information around and keep everyone… Continue

LEARN5-Teaching Children How To Use Money

While searching online I found an interesting program that teaches children how to use money responsibly and how to save money for the future. I think this teaches important skills that will help them in the future and it also is fun since they use colorful play money as examples. If more people are responsibly with money less people will be in financial debt and maybe the economy would thrive.

ACT7-Urban Resilience.

(note-I'm sorry that this post is not long but I have not been feeling very well.)

I already know that New York City has many plans and ways to deal with a crisis situation. I know they have evacuation plans and have police ready to give instructions etc. I am not sure though about some plans to help in case of a food shortage. I would like to inform more people about a situation like this and try to find a way to prepare for a situation like this. I think I can also link this to… Continue

ACT5-Currency/Money experience.

As a child my father collected bills and coins from different countries. I decided to use these bills to experiment with different currencies and exchange rates. I had my friend calculate different exchange rates and we then compared the different values of currencies. We found that it was hard since there were so many different currencies. We decided that maybe it would bee easier is we all had once currency. We did realize though that this might cause conflict as well. Overall I thought this… Continue

ACT6-How I am going to help

I plan to try and raise 100 dollars to give to this organization ---> Change the Lives of 650 Women in Crisis.

I will spread then word about how this money will help. People don't always realize how lucky they are to live in a nice home not having to worry about if your are going to be beaten or hurt by someone you love. This organization help women get custody… Continue

IMAGINE6-2010 Womans Rights and Roles in society

While looking at the 100 global giving project one stood out to me. It is called Change the Lives of 650 Women in Crisis. I think having a safe place to live and not worrying about abuse is very important.

I believe in 2020 women will have an even bigger part in everyday society. We will seen more women in high level business jobs, more woman doctors and lawyers.… Continue

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
