Non-medical communities can help to contain pandemic flu by sharing information. Every town should have an internet plattform where all companies, schools, kindergardens, old people's homes and hospitals are registered. After that, every employee or member of such institutions get codes where they can log in anonymously. If somebody gets the pandemic flu he can just post it on the plattform. He can also add some information, for instance what the symptoms are and what kind of treatment he has…

I've picked the topic
panic versus denial as my secret of crisis communication. First it seemed to me a little bit controverse, that panic is not the problem in critical situations. If people are in panic they can't think rationally and are in danger of making wrong decicions which can lead to serious and life-threatening consequences. But on the opposite panic is usefull and also needed. If something bad happens, getting into panic is like a wake up call. It is a sign that we are aware…

The object I have choosen might seem to be a little bit primitiv, but for people without television and internet it can be a big help.I was thinking about a barometer, which can measure air pressure changes which lead to changes in weather pattern. There a different barometers like liquid barometers or tin barometers. I've picked the easiest one, the fire cone barometer. All you need is a fire cone and a twine or something different to fix it. Then you have to hang the fire bone to the…

I would tell my future generations a quote of Marc Aurel:
Consider the wh*** of nature, of which you are just a tiny piece, and the wh*** tempo of which only a short and small section is assigned to you, and the fate of which is yours, only a fraction.
That means, that everybody just spend a short time on earth and is allowed to "use" the treasures of the environment to live on that planet. But nature will stay much longer on earth and we have to protect her so that next…

I want to share the "Toga" story of Wedomartani in Indonesia. Wedomartani is a a village 30 km form Yogyakarta, on the island of Java. Because of the close location to the booming city Yogyakarta, Wedomartani is very attractive to developers and real estate agents, who are planning to build up a residental area for new comers. The inhabitants are very scared of a social and economic gap which can be created through the new richer inhabitants. Sooner or later the residentals have to sell their…

In 2020 I hope that even in Germany some things had changed. There are already discussions about the women rate in the board level of German companies. So I hope that in 2020 it will be up to 50%. Furthermore women still get less salary than men, so I hope that the effort of women will graded as high as the mens' work.In general I hope that the typical picture of a woman as a housewife will change and it will become normaility that women follow different tasks. The human rights of women should…

I would like to support a dutch charitable organisation called
Women on Waves which was foundet in 1991 by Rebecca Gomperts .The venture stands up for women who are seriously affected by unwanted pregnancy and the lack of access to safe and legal abortion. Quiet often the women were victims of rapes and had no possibilities to find any help. Furthermore these women got isolated and proscribed by their own communities. Because abortion is illegal in some countries they developed a…

This week we could buy tickets for the summer celebration of my university. Every student is allowed to buy only one ticket. Certainly I needed a second ticket for a friend who wants to accompany me. So I asked another friend if she is going and if not,if she could buy a second ticket for me. In addition I wanted to know if I could pay her in a different way and without money. As I knew that she likes jewelry and especially my self-made bracelets I proposed to make her one in her favourite…

The show is about different teams of celebrities which are competing against each other and have to fulfill different tasks reffering to water allocation, water preparation and the economical use of water. The "water-camp" is located in Africa and the…

Today is the 31.December 2020 and we're celebrating New Year's Eve. This is the last day in Germany in which the energy out of a socket is from nuclear power. Also the industry rethought and now cars need less fuel and use kinetic energy to get power through motion. The location…
