Orphans is there hope for them?

The Dina Foundation was started by a Norwegian man, but now his son has taken over

and is rescuing and caring for young girls who have been brutally

raped by rebel soldiers. The name Dina is from the first little girl

who was rescued, she was only two years old.

Orphan’s Promise was recently involved in helping 20 of these young girls (ages

5 to 14 years old) escape their villages after being raped by rebels.

Does attitude really matter?

We young people need to change our attitude towards employment,we ought to cultivate a positive attitude towards available work. This

can well be portrayed by our unwillingness to take menial jobs that

are available. We want to achieve a lot in a short time but we don't

Role of finacial Institution in Poverty eradication

Financial

institution need to soften up on the cost of credit and other

regulations that are attached to credit. Accessibility of credit is

very difficult where banks and other financial intermediaries require

young people to offer capital assets as collateral and they know

insisting on this wouldn't help as young people wouldn't be able to

produce. Financial institution need to come up…

"Hon!Hon!"calls my wife."Come and help me prepare dinner!"She shouts.Oh not again I mumbled as I rolled over the couch as I feigned hearing loss. She came bursting into the living room with a cooking pan in her hand,at the sight of her I didn't wait for the second call.I sprang up and lazily walked towards the back door leading to our vegetable and fruit garden.Since adverse weather patterns had set in,food prices had rocketed to an all time high where it cost more to buy food items… Continue

In his ancestral home of Kenya,President Barack Obama ascension to the Top seat in US has sparked interest among young people, even as

Kenyan youth express dismay over their country's political system.

Economics of dependency

Co-dependency among the unemployed constitutes an economic burden to the employed.

The current dependency rate in Kenya is 84%,this has the effect of

depressing savings and consequently, investments. Without active

investment from the working populace the economy will not grow well

enough so as to absorb the unemployed.…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
