A crash course in changing the world.
It's March. Year: 2020
I'm just steping down the plane. Africa has changed in the last decade. So much that some called the Recovery Decade. I'm heading to be part of a dinner party throw to celebrate the fair trade agreement between the African Union an the Latin American Union. Also, this year is the first year when the average poverty rate in east africa fell under 10%.
The agreement is going to be signed in Ethopia, a country once affected by a drought crisis, now is in the top ten list of agriculture products exporters contries.
In the dinner, we are going to enjoy some of the local food dishes, all of them made with products cultivated in the area: the in-urban gardens make it easier for the food to be fresh. We are going to taste some tibs, a tradiotional plate that goes with a vegetable side dish. After we are going to have some injera to celebrate the agreement. I'm sure that the dinner is goin to be just the start for a better time for africa and the world.
