The future of money rests in the standardization of world currency. The world of 2010 hosted a world of independent currencies, and separate unstable financial systems. This new system would rely on cash/credit cards for all those completing basic registration. It would unify the world and be run under the United Nations. It would be easier to provide welfare for the impoverished peoples of the world if those people had the same currency as the privileged peoples of the world. Banking stations could be set up in every assigned district where cards could be refilled with. This could also open up an entire new business of government-run banking, meanwhile taking away from the more exclusive capitalist banks that cater mainly to the needs of the rich. The new currency would be fairer to tall and prevent economic meltdowns in places where currency is not rigidly defined.
http://www.diij.com/0/gold/gold1.jpg this link shows an example of what this cash/credit card would look like. Across the bottom could be "Worldwide Banking" or something of the like. Banks would be less likely to be corrupt if they were run by a federation interested in worldwide success and not the success of the wealthy.
