Kohler's Commitment to Conserve Water

Kohler set up a campaign to conserve water with SaveWaterAmerica.com. Visitors to the website are encouraged to take a 3-minute quiz designed to raise awareness of less efficient, water-wasting toilets. For each visitor who completes the quiz, Kohler will donate $1 to Habitat for Humanity towards water-saving products.

After helping to make a difference with the most minuscule effort, I suggest the website's water-saving tips. Sure, they may be obvious, but it's good to be reminded. My shower's been dripping for some time now, and I'll definitely have to get it checked out now.

Save Water America has a Facebook profile and a Twitter page, which promote both statistics and tips on water use and conservation. Remember: March 22nd is World Water Day!

The water saving ideas are great. In the western US it is especially important since we are already having to get water from other places. We all need to be aware of the fragility of our water supplies. Great job!

Water conservation is probably the greatest concern for me. I hear often that we already don't have enough water for the world's population, and as you mentioned, certain locations are feeling the strain that others aren't. It turns into a question of environmental justice. So we need to do our parts as the population continues to increase!

That's such a simple way to conserve water! Next brick I find, I'm going to try it.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
