These 10 weeks of Evoke have been one of the most challenging and interesting academic work i have ever done. I managed to learn about organizations that are helping with the nations prominent problems. I further established that in order to deal with the growing problems of the globe, a collective and initiative effort like Evoke can help overcome a number of issues over time. I believe that some of the issues that should be of great concern to evoke agents are as follows: Firstly, the increase in the level of HIV and AIDS in all parts of the world places considerable pressure on creating more awareness. Secondly, Evoke could now search for solutions to problems such as the oil spill in the
Gulf of Mexico that is doing great harm to the environment. Air
pollution and water pollution diminish quality of
life in many areas of the world. We can further discuss damage to the environment with particular reference to the volcano eruption in Iceland. Thirdly, it is important that Evoke focuses on the aspect of resource exploitation so as to make it readily accessible and available to the future generation.
I believe that it is important that evoke communities are build in countries they are most needed in. For instance, Africa is severely hit by majority of these problems such as poverty, power problems and water shortages among others. Therefore, specific communities can be situated in the worst hit areas to help evoke the problems.
Season 2 of Evoke, i would encourage all university students to partake in the challenges and missions to give them a broader understanding of the environment they live in. University students are the future of this world and through evoke they will have an understanding of what the current problems are and how this could possibly influence the way of life in future. I would definitely be back for the second season as i believe that in the 10 weeks of evoke, only a certain number of problems have been dealt with. In season 2, I will be excited and willing to learn more about other factors that are affecting the world today.
