A crash course in changing the world.
“Community Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) for Capacity Building in Southern Africa”
Funded by the “World Wildlife Fund,” this project serves as the touchstone for which National organizations can empower local, African fisheries to understand the economic advantages of conservation and capacity building. In effect, this project commends then indigenous knowledge of native African fisherman, encouraging them to take an active stance in protecting their cash-crop via the support of initiatives that crack down on unregulated fishing.
The project thus legitimizes the indigenous knowledge of native fisherman as a mechanism for combating those whom wish to pillage the sea and ruin this industry. In this way, both parties stand to benefit from the indigenous knowledge of local fishermen. #LEARN8
