A crash course in changing the world.

My fav secret: think like a child – children have no limit to their thinking - Paul Polak via Nextbillion

Why do I believe in this secret?

-------------------------------

A child’s brain is completely new and open so as Social Innovator should be open minded and crystal clear in his objectives and solutions.

A child gets the maximum from its parents and others by either a smile or a cry so as a social innovator should be influencing its associate members and gets the
maximum possible productivity ( E) out of its resources ( m ) , In simple terms
he should achieve the maximum productivity as given by Einstein’s equation
E=mC^2.

When you give two chocolates to a child, it takes all the two. Eats one of them immediately and holds another one for later time. Similarly, a social innovator should find
innovative solutions to immediate challenges and future foreseen challenges.

When a child is hungry, it never waits for anyone but start giving its signals. Similarly, a social innovator should address the challenges all the times by means of
continuous innovations rather than relying upon a single innovative solution.

A child never takes critics ( as he doesn’t know what a critic is?) and keeps its determination level very high so achieve the target, say to get a chocolate
from his mother. Similarly, a social innovator should never be down by critics.
Be positive and keep its energy and determination to the highest possible
level.

The above mentioned skills may also be similar to a normal innovator. But what makes an innovator become a social innovator? May be, we can find it out from the
following example:

When there is a fight between child and his mother, what does a child do? It goes and hugs his mother with a human touch. Similarly, a social innovator should find
innovative solutions with a human touch by putting him in the shoes of the end
users. It should cater value addition to all the aspects including social
status and make them self sufficient. And the solutions should be as simple as
showing love through a hug and a smile.

To put to the end of this post,

Everybody loves their childhood and wants to live as a child always. Similarly, a social innovator should be a role model and place his marks as a great leader also.

Children ARE the ultimate social innovators! Children ARE the change. We need to inspire, enable and empower them. I truly believe that they have all of the solutions already. That's why I am working with a group of teachers here in the Philippines to spread this seed. This is our launchpad

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
