A crash course in changing the world.
I already follow Beth Kanter (http://twitter.com/kanter) , a social good twitterer and amazing fund-raiser, and I thought I'd follow Matt Flannery (http://www.twitter.com/mattflannery as a counterpoint (CEO Of Kiva.org). Because I'm always on twitter for work and for myself, I feel like this is the best way to keep up with the world of micro-lending and get it as part of my daily dose of online perspective.
I already read a bunch of personal finance bloggers - they were an interesting mental antidote to recession news stories - and I'm fascinated by the power of the small (little savings, little tricks, little tips to think about your finances) to influence the mighty. I'm also curious to see what the day to day thinking of an entrepreneur - a social startup person - is like. This will be fun!
