A crash course in changing the world.

Suistainability of the Self inorder to Suistain the Community

The first aspect if sustainability is to realize that one should not over sustain, or rather over consume. One needs to realize how much one truly needs to eat and constantly endeavor to remain close to that level. Over eating and improper diets are the crisis in North America. North Americans hold the majority of the food in the world and their is a large portion of that food that is simply not meant to be eaten as regularly as possible. With type-2 diabetes on the rise and obesity related illnesses and deaths increasing we need to realize that the majority of those processed foods and nutrient enriched foods is to try and compensate for the problem of improper diets instead of trying to address the source of the problem. Before we can even attempt to address helping other people to get their eating in order we need to order the eating in our own lives. I am not saying that it is bad to order the supersized combo every now and again, but not every meal that we order and cook. Their is a certian freedom in cooking eating and cleaning with other people, but that is still not an excuse to stuff our face and waste food. The first step one needs to do is learn proper portion control for their activity level and how to maximize the use of every food item they use, with the wonderful invention the freezer buying in bulk to save can actually be beneficial. Once one has grasped this concept one will be able to try and suistian themselves with gardens and such as they will have an accurate idea of how much they will need to plant. ALongside that one willl be able to teach others how to control portions and different methods to quell the cravings we all know we are bound to have.

After we get our dietary issues under control we can then attempt to address our communities and the international community at large. Reduction of food waste will help to promote healthier lifestyles and slow production down and ideally allow for a more equatable distribution of food, as it may allow for smaller forgien farmers to compete with the cost for lower production totals. I need to do some research to quanitify my theories however i think i created some sound hypothesis.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
