Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

One of the principle goals of EVOKE is to create a network where by all people around the world are entitled to join and submit their views and possible solutions to the crises affecting others around the world. By stimulating debates and getting people out of the comfort that is their lives, Evoke seeks to make those who join more aware of what is happening in the world, what could happen, and more importantly, how to prepare for the inevitable future crises. By getting out of your comfort zone and current set of circ**stances to think about how someone else around the world is living, be in the Third or First World, and finding feasible solutions to help them elevate their circ**stance despite never having met them or experienced what they have, is what Evoke and being a social innovator is all about.

Aligning oneself to the world and the environment, and to see what role each of us plays in Gaian system is another way of looking at what the network seeks to achieve by availing each mission and task to complete. By reflecting on the impact that an individual has and had in the past on the environment, and how to regain control of the situation to better the environment for the future could further the last point on how important playing and actively engaging in the game can be.

There is no discrimination as to who can join the network. The only restriction however is access to technology, the internet and a computer to contribute to the weekly tasks. Without these tools, access to the game is quite prohibitive. Another way to encourage more people to contribute is to maybe have each task at two week intervals to allow those who could maybe post in their views to a central or regional location for the game. This of course is dependent on there being a fast and reliable postal system in that country. Thus another means to communicating and playing the game can be introduced having taken all the costs and possible restrictions into consideration.

The ethics of being a good Evoke agent begin with honesty and mutual respect for people and the circ**stances they may find themselves in. One cannot be considered a member and valuable asset to the network if you embark on the game being narrow-minded, ignorant about situations facing others around the world or even disrespectful to the way that certain societies choose to live their lives especially in cases where their customs and traditions have been working for them for many generations. Thus a degree or integrity and passion for sustainable change could be incorporated into the ethical conduct of Evoke agents.

The network powers I used to complete this task include creativity, a vision for the future conduct of agents and how they can convince others to join in on the efforts to create a better and sustainable future.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
