Good day guys and how are you Evoking?
Today, I shall talk about something that ties Evoke to our real world - the Physical world.
Here's Tim Berners-Lee. We may not know him, but we use his work everyday - the World Wide Web.
Just last month, Tim talked about how user-generated data is helping the world, in the area of…

I've been reading what makes the EVOKE community tick and I'm very fascinated and proud that I'm part of the community.
Now, before I get some beauty sleep (boy work was tough today!), here's something to think about. Let's think about...thinkers.
In India, the top 25% with the highest IQs is greater than the population of the US. That means India has more graduates than US has newborns.
The top 10…

Singapore's very own National Library
It's called the greenest building on the planet. So I decided to explore it...This place is one of my favourite hangouts when I need inspiration as it is located in the city centre, near the urban (hotels, shopping centres & offices) and the traditional (high rise apartments, temples, hawker centres). No…

So what am I gonna eat?
I don't know what it is...but I know that it'll be a plate filled with love because I cooked the ingredients from scratch, and not bought, pre-packed, processed or canned.
I don't know what's on it, but I'm sure it's vegetables because I love…

Coal, Oil, Gas. That's dominating our energy grid right now. As we use energy in a faster and faster rate to power growing economies like the ones in China, India, other parts of Asia and Africa...we need to realise that we're using the last bits of a dwindling resource to power these economies.
Have you thought of how are we going to power our offices and homes in, say, 20 years time? This is one of the reasons I'm not planning to have kids because I don't want another…

Wow, here I am just about to celebrate my 21st birthday, and I need to think about where I am in 2020.
That's 10 years from now. 10 years and things would have changed a lot.
Alright, let's get into the good stuff and ignore the other conventional stuff like money and status and all that stuff.
I want to..be at the forefront of mentoring students. I want to get them motivated for school, learning and contributing back…

Cary Fowler: One seed at a time, protecting the future of food
Here's a short transcript
"I've been fascinated with crop diversity for about 35 years from now, ever since I stumbled across a fairly obscure academic article by a guy named Jack Harlan. And he described the diversity within crops -- all the different kinds of wheat and rice and such -- as a…

The phrase "Choose your Hero" sounds only like something you'd hear in MMORPGs (Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games). However, it's time to choose a real-life hero this time so here I go! It didn't take me long to choose the field that I'm interested in, but I'm stuck with 3 choices for my hero, but what the heck. It's a game and rules are meant to be broken so here I go.
My area I'm going to focus on would be the state of our food supply today, and the hero I'm choosing is Ann…

"INNOVATION IN AFRICA TIPS"
I read this post and I agree with it wh***heartedly. In fact, these innovation tips do not only apply to solving problems in Africa but also to solve issues in my continent - Asia.
"Listen to the RIght People"Smith said that you shouldn't 'pretend that you...know what it's like' to do hard, menial labour...and expect to come up with a solution that can benefit the people you do. This is very true. So…
