WHICH great challenges and social problems should the EVOKE Network tackle next?
• I think EVOKE should tackle more specific social problems in countries next like child abuse and sex tourism in Thailand for example.
WHERE in the world should the network try to build up new EVOKE communities?

I think the secret “How do People React in a Pandemic?” is very important, because you can learn how to react during a pandemic.
When people initially become aware of a risk, they overreact temporary in a short-term way. The knee-jerk…

If I'm 100 years old, it will be 2087…the world will have many changes, the information age will be in more advanced stage, the consequences of climate change will be more evident and so on. The future generation, at least in industrialized countries, will live in abundance and take everything for granted and don’t think about consequences of their behavior in respect to environment.Probably they will still sit from the screen and prefer to communicate with each…

I am originally from Cuxhaven, where floods occur from time to time. On 09 November 2007 was the last storm surge with water levels about 2,30 - 3,30 m over the mean high tide. Outer harbour and the "Deichstraße" have been flooded, whereas the damage was minimal.

I think, the girls and women empowered by my favorite Global Giving Project "Provide Scholarships for 20 Rural Guatemalan Women" would have an education and a job, so that they can provide financial security for their family. Their children would have the opportunity to go to a school too. The project itself would get bigger and global, because it would be also supported by the past Kateri Education Fund recipients.

I think the idea of Prema Salgaonkar will make the biggest change in how we use money in the future. It is really a creative solution for poor people to save money, because normally they are living on $2 day or less and saving money is almost impossible.
"In South Africa, 11 percent of the sample faced a financial emergency in any one year from theft or violent crime. In Bangladesh, 7 percent were cheated or lost cash, and 19 percent lost their home or property through fire or other…

I would arrange an event in the larger cities over the world with so many celebrities and important personalities as possible in order to call attention and advertise this event. The event should include concerts, something to drink and to eat, whereas the people should pay for food and drink. Besides there should be plays like: “transport a water bowl on a particular route like the women and children have to do in poor rural communities”, in order to show the people what physical hardship…

I choose the international, non-profit, volunteer-based, humanitarian organization "Global Water", because I like the idea they pursue:
"Nothing changes a community like providing a source of clean water for the first time"
Global Water believes

The "Deutsche Welthungerhilfe e. V" is a confessional and politically independent, non-profit-making and non-governmental aid organization for development cooperation and emergency aid.
In Germany in 1962, at the initiative of the then German President, Heinrich Lübke, a committee was founded, later to be renamed "Deutsche Welthungerhilfe". For over forty years, the vision of a world without hunger has linked them with partners in the north and south – with project partners in Africa,…
