Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

After 10 weeks, of everything we can to get true the missions, is the time to see what really happen after we complete the missions. I have to say that every week I learned a lot.

1° Week - Mission: Social Innovation
I search and found the e-mail address of my role model James O´Brian, Principal of BCAM and I wrote to him.
Result: He never respond to the email. :-( http://www.urgentevoke.com/profiles/blogs/act-1-contact-my-role-model

2° Week - Mission: Food Security
I made a community project of vegetables gardens.
Result: At first I was strangling contacting people to take the project a head, but now is part of my evokation. :-) http://www.urgentevoke.com/profiles/blogs/vegetables-family-gardens

3° Week - Mission: Power Sift
Result: I found a cool enterprise directed for a 20 year old student who create Solar Solution Paraguay. That is part of my evokation to. :-) http://www.urgentevoke.com/profiles/blogs/act-3-changing-my-self-to

4° Week - Mission: Water Crisis
This time I have it easy because I already have a environmental call for my rotarian club and I just had to include the Careful of Water in after send all the emails and do the educative talks. I made this also part of my evokation. :-)

5° Week - Mission: The Future of Money
I decided to create a Time Bank, at first I got 15 members but now is no longer operating :-( http://www.urgentevoke.com/profiles/blogs/act-5-community-time-bank

6° Week - Mission: Empowering Women
I convince my coworkers to donate their lunch money to a good cause, I still receive the advance of the project. :-) http://www.urgentevoke.com/photo/act-6-donation

7° Week - Mission: Urban Resilience
I used the learning to contact to the community and asking what they feel about the dengue crisis.:-)
http://www.urgentevoke.com/photo/act-7-chake-dengue

8° Week - Mission: Indigenous Knowledge
In this week my English take me down because I understand at first there I had to make something ... and a made it... when at last I understand there I only had to choose and show something ... was to late.. I already uploaded the pictures. ?-) http://www.urgentevoke.com/photo/act-8-making-a-sculpture

9° Week - Mission: Crisis Networking
This week was painfully hard for my lack of knowledge about technology.#-)

10° Week - Mission:What Happens Next?
Well, I give my best effort, but I dont know the result yet.
What do you think?

This is so helpful to see an personal reflection like this. I think in future seasons, I would love to have a page like this for every player to reflect! Thanks for sharing and demonstrating this excellent idea.

This should be Quest 11, to be completed at the end of the process. A kind of final self-exam.

Excellent!

My guess is that really few kids (13 to 18) would be able to accomplish this quest or mission; only those who have "what it takes" would complete it. I suggest they add it as sort of secret assignment or an optional task to earn 1000 power points for Leadership.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
