My five UEvoke Heroes, Part V: You already know who it is =)

OK, the series is over.

I wanted to finish mentioning the Agent who I consider contributed the most to EVOKE’s community, at least in quality, which is what matters.

This agent had a positive, productive, and epic win experience on EVOKE and it was only

due their human qualities.

I believe this Agent’s performance thrived and made the game Evoke succeed…

My five UEvoke Heroes, Part IV: Michele Baron

I have to mention another female hero. You are all free to think of me as a helpless

feminist, I am going to be a gender activist (sometimes feminist, sometimes

maschilist) until we reach the required healthy balance.

Michele Baron, from Virginia (US) is my hero because she is the most tenacious Evoke

player of us all. Michele was ninged once on her…

My five UEvoke Heroes, Part III: Gilda Lorena Arias

Agent Gilda Lorena is from Paraguay, she is my hero because she had the bright idea of

presenting a reflexive exercise, which consisted on an a****sment of the impact of

her “ACT#” objectives to her physical environment
(what we still call “the real

world”).

Most likely…

My five UEvoke Heroes, Part I: SAMIRAN ROY

I will start writing about you guys, ATT: the order does not imply any preference oK?

My fellow agent Samiran Roy is a hero of this game because he managed to get everyone

involved in his “comes and goes”, I don’t know exactly how he does it, but we are always there, commenting his posts, participating of his polls.

Samiran kept this site alive during…

I have seen it. It is great for any out there interested in education. We need to adjust education to fit these 'digital natives' who have knowledge at their finger tips but may not know how to use it or how they can contribute to a better world.

I am a high school teacher for 10-12th grades. I have students who don't often like school and have had many reasons for getting behind in credits. My job is to show them how interesting learning can be. If you have any ideas, please let me know. I always want them to love learning, become critical thinkers, and learn to take care of themselves and others.

I love Jamie Oliver... he is part of my curriculum (for teaching health and how one person can make a difference). Next session of his starts April 12th!

Brain washing? I much prefer: "THE SKILL OF WRITING IS TO PROVIDE A CONTEXT IN WHICH OTHER PEOPLE CAN THINK."Edwin Schlossberg

I but write to provide such a context. Smile.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
