in 10 years?
- i will have published come alive, my novel on human trafficking
- my husband and i will still live in austin, most likely with our foster/adopted children
- i will be hosting workshops for administration and educators, explaining the importance of service learning within the classroom, focusing on creative change and the possibility of students' ideas resulting in global impact
- my art of storytelling center will be open for students wanted mentorship in dance, photography, videography, writing or any other medium in which they can tell a story and change the world

The Art of Storytelling center sounds amazing! My mom is a storyteller and I'm a teacher, and we both love to use storytelling as a path to learning.

Also, last year I put on a workshop called Community Building Through Storytelling that was a lot of fun. I wish I had my website up so that I could link to the workshop "story" that we created. But it's not up right now. Hopefully soon...

thanks! i know it's not a unique idea, which probably makes it more accessible in the short run. the possibilities are endless though with what it COULD be, and daily i have ideas on how to make it more effective. (check out my third quest) :)

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
