I've contacted a local community garden to see if there's a place available for my grandfather to join. He used to be an avid and innovative gardener and mourns the loss of that part of his life now that he's in a tiny unit.
If there's a place available, I'll pay for his membership. If not, I'll need to look at establishing another garden. After all, if there's sufficient demand to create a waiting list, there must be sufficient demand to sustain another garden!
