MEETING ROOM

I reject your reality and substitute my own - Adam Savage, Mythbusters

PAGE 1

PANEL A

Evoke agents are lounging around a casual meeting space.

EMBER 1

What a crazy year. I can't believe we pulled all those stunts off.

ALCHEMY 2

Well, not everything went as planned...

EMBER 3

Expression: Wry grin.

EVOKE MANIFESTO

Evoke is you. It's me. It's everyone. Every time you help someone, every time you march for a cause or participate in public debate, you are carrying the spirit of an Evoke agent within you. You have the power to create change - all you have to do is step up and play your part.

Evoke is:

  • Identifying need

  • Empowering people to act for themselves
  • Organizing manpower, resources and innovation to catalyze change
  • Inspiring…

The next chapter - politics

In my opinion, I think Evoke would be the perfect vehicle to deal with political campaigns and other political issues. Evokers could set up unbiased platform wikis about the issues at stake, help set up community voter registration and fraud-protection/watchdog groups and get information on any crooked dealings to the general public through various media and sources.

Local crisis information twitter tags

Here is my call to action:

In a crisis, it's important to be able to see what's happening in your area quickly so you can respond. That's why I'm calling on all mobile- and computer-enabled citizens to post updates about conditions, problems, solutions, needs and other issues to Twitter using the #AVLcrisis[cat] tag, using the following categories abbreviations:

  • CND (conditions on the ground)
  • RSP (crisis responders - EMTs, fire, ambulance, police, etc -…

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.

Where I will be in ten years.

Ten years from now I will be in a political job assisting with people in the midlands of South Carolina particularly the rural working class and farmers. As the class of people that feed the nation I find that it is imperative that we assist with making sure they produce as much food as possible. I would like to support local scientists as well that are leading in research on how to produce food more efficiently. I will also be participating in missions to foreign countries to help people with…See More

India Water home

The secret was living on the water via boats common in many developing countries like Myanmar. This is a real Indian boat home made of wood and this provides a shelter for many peoples around the world.

Charleston has an exhibit opening up with pieces of old african art and sculptures. Every piece of art, quilts and dolls, is beautiful and engaging in their own way… Many of them address the mermaids that followed the slave ships to return the souls…
