I want to join our team.
I'll do that by working furiously on ecological unit, trying to find and use alternate non-us databases, and keep the site functionality that maps areas. I am going to be contacting you after I get the website and most of the bugs worked out of it and we'll expand into your area.
Also, in the future, i'd like to set a community urban farm up in Tallahassee, with your help. I've already got the land, I just don't know where to go from there and i'm really sick of working by myself.
As for golocal farms..what does a model golocal farm look like? how does it function? what are its details? how much does it cost to set up? what kinds of legal looph***s are there? What kinds of variances are there in a chain of these? how do people get into contact with each other?
Have you considered making a packet with all the info one might need to set one up? With a suggested organizational structure(job titles and descriptions not people) so its a matter of plug and play? Will there be help from other community urban farms to set new farms up?
Your job sounds vast. I'll help where I can. Let me know if you think I can help in a specific way.

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years.
