Good day, Lynn!
Hope things are all right at your esteemed end and all the best for your fund raising activity through phoenix as well as reaching to unemployed people. However, I could not hear anything from you for long on EVOKE platform.
Do try to complete missions when you get time from your busy schedule.
With warm regards,
Pradip Dey

Good day, Lynn!
I was away for few days (on tour). Sorry for being late to reply.
Well, while I agree broadly with your view point, I also do feel that the situation can be changed by women themselves. Somehow women need to be self reliant (without expecting ditto from their male counterpart for every action; in fact must be prepared to face rejection too). We need to change the attitude. Do see the headliner that I have posted today: When you are in light, everything will follow you !! But when you enter dark, even your own shadow will leave you …… This is LIFE…..
With warm regards,
Pradip Dey

Thanks for your wonderful comment. It means a lot to me that you have looked into what I have been saying, and that we are thinking along the same lines. Yes, there is most definitely an Evokation or two that we might work on together.

Though I believe many people, a large percentage even, are aware of the growing connections in their own lives, relatively few are aware of where we are headed, and what this ultimately means for all of us. I am very grateful to be meeting all the fine and interesting people here in UrgentEvoke, and look forward to future conversations with you on all these subjects. Thanks again. :O)

Hello, thank you for your lovely comments :) The ACT parts of the missions are by far the hardest, don't you think? It took me several days to come up with something for ACT2. Lobbying an MP seems like a timely action, giving the elections coming up :)

Absolutely - working together always brings better results than working alone! If I can be any help at all do let me know :) Actual feedback is a very important part of this game I feel, much more important than the points. :)

Hi Lynn- My traveling has been done over a period of almost 40 years-- so don't worry! You have plenty of time! I'm also a scaredy-cat about traveling alone. This last trip I had been thinking about for 25 years-- and the last 3 years even after I'd decided to finally do it, I kept putting it off because I didn't want to go alone. Finally a girlfriend agreed to go. Now, having gone, I wouldn't be afraid to go alone. It's always easy to find other people to travel with once you're on the road-- but I always forget this when I haven't been for awhile.

Agent Lynn, fast- that was! Now I know how fast EVOKERS can be at responding to emergencies. :)
Well, I am writing a proposal for Evokation - Its about Agriculture in Developing Countries - also looking at a report on Food Access and Food Availability.
Is this something you would be interested in?
I am from an agricultural background with a Computer Science profession so, I am also seeking to explore ICT4Agriculture.
Please also read article:
I report inadequate food access and availability in Uganda.

Thanks for your comments. It's nice to know that you too are doing research on food sovereignty. I am also after it. I will revert back to you. Thanks and regards.

Good day! Thanks for nice comments on my article "Use of waste water can bring food security". In fact, with increased urbanisation, decreasing per capita land availability for agriculture and shrinking good quality water resources, agriculture will be more and more dependent on use of waste water.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
