IMagine

For this event I would have man made lake done and into this lake I would find a way to pour tons of fresh water into it for the people to drink from and use freely. This way the people would always have something to drink.

Water visionary

I teamed up with my friend Dylan and together we went and bought bulk class of bottled water and took to to poverty stricken neighborhoods and delivered fresh water to families when the pipes were frozen.

Solutions

To help solve the water crisis a lot of people are doing whatever they can to avoid polluting the enviroment. By reducing pollution we can make the air cleaner and provide better rainwater that will nor be wasted so fast

Imagine

In 2020 I plan to celebrate my 25th Birthday with maybe my wife? I don't think I will have kids yet *knock on wood*. Id hope that i could enjoy it with my family with no obligations, because hopefully we will not be at war with a random country. One can only dream this though because I just can't see this happening. Id like to just go to a nice dinner and spend all that time with friends and family and hopefully go back to a house that I may own and just relax. I hope the world will be like…

Act

If you think about the majority of Americans spend a lot of time behind a screen. If i could create anything I would try to find a way to conserve the amount of energy that computers take up. I would try to make a device that could capture the energy that they generate and use it to power simple household items.

Learn

In my hometown there is a house that runs sole on solar power. The outside of the house is lined on the outside with solar panels that absorb light that generates energy and is able to power the wh*** house. Everything except water runs off the sunlight that these panels absorb. This saves a lot money and a lot of electricity that otherwise would be wasted.

New Bank

I new bank just opened up here in Charleston and this new bank offers a variety of different services for their clients. They hold all types of different currencies. Clients can store any form of goods and/or currency they want there. They can store gold, silver, platinum. Anything that has some sort of value. This bank also allows the bartering of goods for the exchange of money and/or other goods. It lets people trade items to help develop a more bartering like economy .

Paypal

This week I opened up and used a paypal account. PayPal is an online payment service that allows individuals and businesses to transfer funds electronically. I have never used this before but I went online on Amazon and purchased a few items using the Paypal services. I was not aware before of all the options that Paypal offers which are if you have a PayPal account, you can add and withdraw funds in tons of ways. You can link your account with bank accounts or credit cards for more direct…

Bartering

Bartering I think is something that can have a huge impact on the future on money. Exchanging goods and services is a form of currency that has been around a long time way before the creation of money. Bartering can be a way to help developing countries create a strong economic foundation to help level the playing field against bigger more developed nations. It is a good way to provide a creation of jobs and more economic versatility for nations around the world.

Dinner 2020

I feel that the world will have a healthier outlook on food in 2020. When I sit down for dinner I will be eating mainly vegetables that I have grown in my local garden free of pesticides and GMOs. I will also be eating meat from a sustainable source. The major companies will have less of a grip when it comes to providing food for families. We will make our way towards a healthier more sustainable world.

Food Bank

I have been helping out at the local food bank. This is something that should help those parents who need it save some money and be able to feed their children long term. Having groceries given out on 2 weekends a month helps sustain the local population allowing them to save money for different personal goals.

Hunger In Charleston

There is a local food security issue. Many times over the summer children end up going hungry. The reason for this is because during the school year parents can rely on help from the school to provide a lunch and sometimes breakfast. Once the children are home for the summer this makes it more difficult for the parents.

One action that is already in place is from a local church call Faith Remount. This church twice a month runs a local food bank for the citizens in this specific area.…

Barter system

A barter system that I am using that is unconventional is exchanging coffee for services here at The Citadel in my barracks. I purchased quite a bit of coffee, and I make it for people in exchange for multiple types of services or favors. The coffee cost about twelve dollars for a couple weeks worth and I am able to exchange a cups worth of coffee for a favor. Eventually, it becomes very obvious that I would receive more than twelve dollars worth of favors. That being said, left unchecked, I…

Go Fund Me

For my act I gave money to a personal project on Go Fund Me. The woman is from the local area and needs money to get a food truck back and running. This woman also does work at the local food bank and helps out with the homeless downtown.

Random Giving

I think a growing change is the ability to change someones life through random giving. With the new websites people are able to place needs and see them fulfilled daily. This gives rising hope to those seeing the real changes being made through donations. Yes there are some making a mockery of this great idea by collecting thousands of dollars to make a burrito. Overall if this type of organization can get social media coverage and collect money for small community projects I think there…

Changing Currencies

I think the biggest change that will occur with regard to currency will be the overall shift in electronic transactions. Obviously that has been a huge transition over the past 50 years or so. It seems like over the next 50 years paper money will essentially become obsolete. With the rise in technology large international transactions (as well as fraud, corruption, etc.) will become much more commonplace. I believe the world may move towards one worldwide currency as well to simplify…

School Money System

An interesting money system that I have been exposed to is the money system we have at The Citadel. Each year The Citadel advocates a specific amount of our tuition money onto a school card that we can use for uniforms, books, and hygiene items. Although it is real money from our tuition it is a good system in the sense that it gives students lateral movement to get the necessities they need for school. A good part about it is that the money is limited and it is limited to certain items one…

Future of Money Possibilities

The concept of credit has always been a great idea. People who aren't able to buy big ticket items are loaned money in order to get such an item with the anticipation that they will pay the full amount over time. While this concept is great it has taken to a mind of its own. The reliance on credit scores has become the SAT score for adults. Essentially this score follows you everywhere. Wanna buy a car? Sure you can buy a car but your credit isn't great so here is a killer interest rate…

New Currency

New forms of currency could include currency which instead of symbolic paper or coin is represented in actual services. Of course this currency would be very complicated to create, in terms of what amount and type of work converts to what good/service but nerveless it could help to bridge the gap between the poor and the rich. After all, while money can sit in the bank and go untouched at the detriment of society, goods and services would be more likely to be cashed in on and bartered with…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
