My wisdom to pass on to young people is for children to listen to their parents - always. Young people have this thing now where many hate their parents, don't want to listen to their wisdom and follow the wrong crowds - those parents gave warnings about. This has to stop at some point. The city of Richmond is home to over 30 works of public art. Becoming a mother is one of the most wonderful experiences a woman can endure and the process of childbirth, especially with so many processes over the years, are also exciting and educational.

Treasure Island, located in San Francisco, California. The 400-acre (1.5-square-km) man-made island was built in the middle of San Francisco Bay for the 1939 Golden Gate International Expositione.



­Under a new proposal, Treasure Island -- along with its neighbor Yerba Buena Island -- will become one of the most environmentally friendly developments in the United States when ground is broken in 2009.

The approach I'm taking here is to highlight some of the points of the plans for the City of Richmond, California that has developed an Emergency Preparedness Plan, online so that the city and other areas may review and compare for their own cities.

The types of emergency crisis that can be experienced in the local towns for which I reside in are: social unrests/riots (between races, or disagreements regarding police brutality -- such as the shooting of Oscar Grant); blackouts/brownouts, earthquakes or pipeline explosions (such as the explosion of pipelines in 2010 occurring in San Bruno, California); other exlplosions and so on.

Women and children are being given better opportunities to become educated, to learn how to take care of themselves and to teach others how to become better humans.



The more they learn, the better they can become empowered and the more empowered, the better this world will be. Women must take their rightful places in society -- that alongside men, not in the back of them. In some cases, women step ahead of them.
