Ten years from now I imagine myself in the US Army as an Intelligence officer. I will be working to help give soldiers the information they need in order to complete missions that, ideally, would help to foster world peace and promote order in the International system. Additionally, being able to develop others and help them achieve their goals.

M-PESA is an interesting article regarding the citizens of Kenya. What it is, is a mobile app that allows you to transfer money from one person to another, without the use of a bank. This gives independence to the citizens and the ability to not use a bank if they choose.

In 2020, I plan to be sitting by my pool with my supermodel wife and our four beautiful children. I will be exorbitantly wealthy after the success of my start-up business. I think that the most important thing for innovation is the sharing of knowledge. When you share knowledge and information, you get other people's take on things. This collaboration leads to great innovation and the betterment of life for everyone involved. Though I do believe that intellectual property must be protected so as to encourage people to develop new things, I also believe that the free flow of ideas leads to a constantly expanding cloud of human knowledge which is hopefully used…

I think a lot of time creative people are blocked by this obstacle. They do not want to be arrogant or stupid, but we all have to understand that there is a first time for everything.

In 2020, I plan on being a police officer with the New York Police Department. Ultimately, I hope to be a detective by that point, but it may take some time to reach that rank. I want to live in Brooklyn, and work in either that borough or the Bronx, because that is where most of the crime is. Nick Martin seems like a good person to emulate. By developing online resources and technology for people around the world to use, he is giving everyone a chance to be connected. This is especially important for people who are poor or have no Internet access. Now, they can be connected at any time.

I've chosen to follow Richard Hawkins, who works at the World Bank, to follow as my social innovator.

I would love to shadow Alex Hornstein. He is someone who invents, and develops and deploys innovative clean technologies that are meant to help increase global access to electricity. He also is committed to reducing carbon emissions and has recently signed on to build a solar pocket factory. This is a machine that will produce small solar panels that could potentially provide power to millions of people worldwide.
