Ten years from now I imagine myself in the US Army as an Intelligence officer. I will be working to help give soldiers the information they need in order to complete missions that, ideally, would help to foster world peace and promote order in the International system. Additionally, being able to develop others and help them achieve their goals.

At the beginning of this academic school year, I witnessed my roommate trade a pizza for a computer monitor. This is a way to barter goods, or trading one for another.

Scott Warren is a 25 year old man from the Forbes 30 under 30 list who created an ingenious idea on how to get high school students more involved in in civics. His idea was brought to life when he founded the group Generation Citizen. Generation Citizen goes into high school cla**** and has college students lead and teach civics cla**** based off actions that the students care about. Instead of the students learning about mundane topics have no interest in, they can pick what topics they…

M-PESA is an interesting article regarding the citizens of Kenya. What it is, is a mobile app that allows you to transfer money from one person to another, without the use of a bank. This gives independence to the citizens and the ability to not use a bank if they choose.

In 2020, I will be in the worlds greatest army, jumping out of airplanes and doing other hooah stuff. I plan to have a family and provide for them to the best of my ability

I believe that "do it yourself" money is going to have the biggest change in regards to how we use money in the future. I believe this because of the great push towards digital life the world. Everything we do is revolved around technology. I believe that in the future that there will be little to no cash, strictly digital transactions. This being said, digital cash will be the next change in money in the future. Additionally, people will want to digital cash because they cannot physically…

Imagine 1 - Buehring

In 2020, I plan to be sitting by my pool with my supermodel wife and our four beautiful children. I will be exorbitantly wealthy after the success of my start-up business. I will be giving generously of my extreme wealth to a variety of charities around the world because of my natural philanthropic spirit.

ACT 1 - Buehring

For my social innovator, I chose to follow Hal Steinbrenner, owner of the New York Yankees. Steinbrenner sits on the board of directors for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, a group which helps children of fallen soldiers. Steinbrenner's efforts have provided the opportunity for innumerable children of fallen heroes to attend school and gain an education. This selfless patriotism has revolutionized the American sporting industry, as teams all over the nation now have similar…

Learn 1 - Buehring (Citadel)

I think that the most important thing for innovation is the sharing of knowledge. When you share knowledge and information, you get other people's take on things. This collaboration leads to great innovation and the betterment of life for everyone involved. Though I do believe that intellectual property must be protected so as to encourage people to develop new things, I also believe that the free flow of ideas leads to a constantly expanding cloud of human knowledge which is hopefully used…

My favorite tip for social innovation (mission)

For this mission, I chose:

stay positive – don't be distracted by what other people think (if there
were a need for it, the market would have already created it)

I think a lot of time creative people are blocked by this obstacle. They do not want to be arrogant or stupid, but we all have to understand that there is a first time for everything.

Where will I be in 2020?

In 2020 I will be an investment banker for Wells Fargo and working with families I need of financial assistant or anyone needing help with handling money or investing more in a 401K or an annuity

2020

In 2020, I plan on being a police officer with the New York Police Department. Ultimately, I hope to be a detective by that point, but it may take some time to reach that rank. I want to live in Brooklyn, and work in either that borough or the Bronx, because that is where most of the crime is. I want to be a cop so that I am able to make a difference in the lives of many people. #IMAGINE1

Nick Martin seems like a good person to emulate. By developing online resources and technology for people around the world to use, he is giving everyone a chance to be connected. This is especially important for people who are poor or have no Internet access. Now, they can be connected at any time.

Social Innovation Learn1

I think that living on 2 dollars a day is an interesting idea. Yes, it can definitely save plenty of money in the long run. It also gives you a perspective on how many people around the world live. If we can limit our spending, we can save a lot of money and use it for other means

2020

In 2020, I will be living in the western United States and raising a family after my service in the Marine Corps and Peace Corps, respectively. I'd like to invest and get into logistics in the medical field.

Words that I like to live by are from Socrates: "I am the wisest man in the world, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing."

-I live by these words so that I approach every situation with a sense of humility. I also use them to constantly remind myself that I…

Alex Hornstein

I would love to shadow Alex Hornstein. He is someone who invents, and develops and deploys innovative clean technologies that are meant to help increase global access to electricity. He also is committed to reducing carbon emissions and has recently signed on to build a solar pocket factory. This is a machine that will produce small solar panels that could potentially provide power to millions of people worldwide.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
