Like the EVOKE team, I function best when working on discrete, challenge-focused projects. My goal is to find ways to make my community a better place by

Reading through the Nieman Guide, Crisis Communication the thing that struck me most was mentioning peoples perception of risk.

As the author Peter Sandman, a risk communication consultant, points out…

Do with what you have

"What you have matters more than what you lack (If you’ve got a bicycle, consider what you can build based on that, rather than worrying about not having a car, a truck, a metal shop.)"

... This is a really important personality everyone must own if we want to move on as individuals. If you have nothing at all dont dwell on it becuase not everyone in the world is willing to help you, so must know how to help yourself. Make do with what you have becuase we dont…

I thought that all of the clean water projects had good ideas. I think that if all of them worked together the water in America/ the World could become a lot cleaner.

Analysis of World Bank voting reforms: Governance remains illegitimate

[BWP alert] Analysis of World Bank voting reforms: Governance remains illegitimate and outdated

A new paper by BWP analyses recent shifts in voting power at the World Bank, including those agreed at the spring meetings. It examines the Bank's claims that these reforms represent significant progress towards equitable voting power between developed and developing or transition countries. A closer look shows that high-income countries will retain more than 60 per cent of voting… Continue

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
