I think in my opinion that the best secret is don't fight culture. Allowing people to stay and keep their culture will make them feel more happier and comfortable. If they were not allowed to stick with their culture, then the people would feel confused about who and where they came from.Sharing their culture could also be a way for people to share their similarities between one another.

I am from the Sacramento California Region, which is one of the most fertile regions of the world and produces 1/5 of the worlds produce. Thus food shortages here would not be a cause of inability to grow, but inability for the everyday citizen to get the food grown here as so many other cities, states, and countries rely on the produce grown here. But in reaction to the prospect of food shortages, the state in conjunction with CSUS has begun opening community gardens that focus on producing…

I think evoke should work more on trying to actually make a difference in the world by actually fixing most of the problems we have been reading and reflecting about. In my opinion we should all work on making the third world countries just as good as we are. Evoke should do fundraisers and have different organizations that help benefit the other countries in need.

The next series should show lives of real people in need. They could describe how it is to live that way, and we could be inspired to do something great.

I think Evoke's Next Mission topic should be on animal cruelty. Savings the endangered, stopping poachers, etc.

I think Evoke should help with Guinea Worm Disease. It is a terrible thing mostly people in Africa o through. Now, Nigeria and Niger hasn't had any cases, but Sudan has had more than 2,000 cases of people with Guinea Worm Disease. It is a painful sight to see and it is much more killer to go through. Evoke should really help people who have this disease.
Not only do I think Evoke should tackle Guinea Worm Disease, but these problems too:
-Child Labor
-Blood Diamond's…

The year is 2060. It is Thanksgiving. I am sitting at the family reunion with lots of children running around and making a ton of noise. Somebody just brought me a little glass of red wine. Thank goodness! My knees are killing me, but I dare not try to walk around too much for fear I’ll trip over some creeping, crawling babe.
Above all the hubbub and what-the-heck, I hear someone mention the “War Between the States.” The conversation seems to focus on the evils of slavery and how fat,…

I think the most important secret is to ask the outside sources like when you send reporters to ask people questions because it helps them figure out what happened and how to solve the problem.

I read the case study on “Incentives and institutional arrangements for participatory watershed management: The case of Arenal, Costa Rica” on the The Community-Based Natural Resource Management Network website.
This article recounted a long and intense argument between environmentalists and local ranchers about an initiative to reforest the area around the Arenal Conservation Area and the Rio Chiquito region. While environmentalists insisted that reforestation was necessary to restore…

Ever since I began this mission, I have been thinking about the FEMA trailers that were used during Hurricane Katrina. I was living in Mississippi when Katrina hit. In a conversation with the former head of emergency medicine for the state of Mississippi, I put forward a proposal to get trailers rather than putting people in shelters. This approach avoids all the hazards related to sheltering large numbers of people for extended periods. Large shelters are useful for only a very limited time…

In the year 2020 my family's garden has grown to be very large. The majority of our meals come from the garden and keep my family healthy. The fast food restaurants are slowely going out of business because people are becoming more healthy, so they began selling more healthy choices.

I talked to my family about starting a little garden in our backyard. My mom liked the idea and started growing vegitables and she cooks them with our meals. Hopefully we can expand the garden and grow even more food

The food problem in America is mainly based on the health of the food that we eat. Not only do we pretty much run on fast food the healthy food is expensive and many familys simply can't afford it. I believe that the best solution would be to make the healthy food cheaper and encourage more restaurants to serve healthy meals.

I think that in the future evoke should explore some new issues around the world that are affecting people. I think that malaria is huge issue in Asia and Africa and knowledge about it should be spread
