Same but different

I think dinner in 2020 wont be too different from today, at least not at first sight. But taking a closer look at it, one will find some significant differences... but starting with the menu:

We are having:

- Salad as an appetizer

- Spaghetti Bolognese as main course

- fruit salad as dessert

Here are the differences compared to the same dinner in 2012:

- with transportation costs constantly rising over the last century, "standard" fruits and vegetables soon…

dishes from the pill?

Earlier, it was theorized that in the 21st Century, feeds mainly on pills.. But today, food is an expression of culture, creativity and reflects our personality and status.

So I do not see any entire new food on our dining tables. Nevertheless some food will change, like ’functional food’, but most will stay the same.

Well, I see myself in a small restaurant serving only local and seasonal food. And they are using fresh herbs from their own garden to refine the food. This…

IMAGINE 2

In 2020 I will be aiding animals in Africa. I am sitting and eating food that I have grown myself in my own garden. The meal doesn't have a name because I created it. The meal I am eating is very tasty and incredibly fresh.

Cooking in future

At first i select a meal from my database. Then the program order the ingredients of the meal and it will delivered. If the ingredients at home, the programm shows me, how i have to proceed. But before i start with cooking, the scanner from the program have to scan the ingredients to identify the individual parts. If the program knows the ma**** of indiviual parts, the process will be calculate. The furnace and the food processor is also controlled by the program. It tell me, when and what i…

Dinner in 2020

I would having water from a freshwater lake that is a 2 minute walk away and I would be eating macaroni cheese. I would bring the macaroni cheese and a cup to the lake and eat there, at the purpose built picnic table.

March 10, 2020: Dinner-time

I'm in a restaurant with my best friend. The steak i'm going to eat is huge. Maybe a little bit genetically enlarged. We collected our meals from database. Ordered on a tablet computer. We don't sit at a normal table. We sit at a long bare. Every meal is fresh cooked. The ingredients were directly brought from the garden next to the restaurant. Waiters aren't needed anymore. The dishes with the meals come and go on a conveyor belt. The meal is exactly aligned to what is our favourite…

Dinner in 2020

As hard as it sounds, but i think in 2020 nearly nothing will be changed in germany. I will surely get meat as much as i want to and as cheap as possible. But vegetables espezially wheat and other crop plants will be much more expansive. Because everybody need them and the mankind will keep up growing. That will cost land for living which was used for farming, which will lead to higher prices, more CO2 in the air and less untouched ladscapes.

IMAGINE2 - dinner in 2020

In 2020 I imagine myself living with my family on our ranch. We have homegrown fruits and vegetables. On the other side we have our own cows and hens. It’s March 10, 2020 my husband and I prepare the children a delicious Chinese dinner. All above vegetables and fruits we could get from our garden. I planned a vegetarian dinner: Beijing soup as the starter and Chinese dumplings, filled with egg, tofu and garlic chives, as main course. It tastes so good and reminds me of my homeland.

In…

What we will eat in 2020

I think the people will not realy change there eating behavior in the next 8 years. Some like unhealthy fast-food others only eat vegetarian or slow food. The variety that we can consume will grow, even though the variety of food will be reduced.

But I think there will be one big difference.

The industry will produce smart food. What's this? It's food with microbiological sensors.

Read more about it…

IMAGINE2 - cocoon cooker

The "Cocoon Cooker" is the newest way to go green yet.

The controversial cooker could 'grow' meat and fish in your kitchen by heating pre-mixed food packets containing animal muscle cells, oxygen, and nutrients. So maybe in 2020 I'm sitting in the cafeteria of my workplace eating a steak, not knowing that it's a fake steak arosen from synthetic ingredients because it tates like a real steak. It's a controversial idea but it could also be a quick and easy way to get nutrients from meat…

IMAGINE2 - Mission 2: It's March 10, 2020. What are you eating for dinner?

It's 7 PM and I look out of the kitchen window. I see the trees in my garden and the last rays of sunshine shining through the leaves. I stand up and take another look at the trees I planted years ago. A soft wind drifts outside, making the leaves covering the signs I put up infront of each tree. Each sign tells me what kind of fruit the tree bears. I take a quick glance at the beds full of vegetables being ready to be picked and turned into delicious meals. I smile and think back when my…

My dinner on March 10, 2020

March 10, 2020 will be a tuesday, so i guess i might have dinner with my family after i came home from my job. I think the dinner might be vegetarian, because meat has become very expensive in the past years. This is why there where many new laws have been approved, that have prohibited factory farming.

The meal was prepared by my partner, she is very good at cooking vegetarian meals. The meal tastes very fresh and natural, because the new trend is to enjoy food without synthetic…

What will I eat for dinner in 2020?

It's Thanksgiving, so I'm visiting my parents in Hong Kong. The food looks delicious. As usual, we are having a traditional Thanksgiving meal, including New Territories Turkey, pink corn, and avocado pie. The turkey was raised in New Territories (an area in Hong Kong), so it's fresh and healthy. The corn tastes sweeter than ever, which isn't surprising as the new genetic DNA (used to make corn sustain growing heat), adds natural sugar as well. The avocado pie is perfect, and a great…

Tea

I would probably be eating Noodles if a story came up and I had to research but if was relaxing I most likely would be eating fresh vegetables with spaghetti bolognese. I would be drinking filtered sea-water with a lot of ice.

IMAGINE2

I'm sitting at the dinner table with my flatmates, Gabby and Sam in our Riccarton flat. There is a steaming platter of nachos in the middle of the red and white checked tablecloth with a basket of freshly baked soft white rolls that Gabby made after her shift at Subway. Our water gla**** are filled to the brim, and each of us have a special treat of a bottle of Lemon, Lime and Bitters. I had a day off Police School , so I'd been to the nearest supermartket. We don't make much money, so we…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
