My research discovered a local currency in Germany, which is called "the chiemgauer" (Chiemgau is a region in Bavaria). I haven't heard of it before and that is why I think it is very interesting.

For World Water Day 2020 I would plan a worldwide event. The purpose of the event would be to inform people, to collect new innovative ideas, bring people together and of course have fun.
Several companies and organisations would have the opportunity to sponsor or to introduce their ideas. Furthermore innovators, NGOs and aid workes are encouraged to inform people about their work and their innovations. This would also be a great opportunity for companies to find new innovations which…

Polluted water is a cause of disease in developing countries and worldwide. 80% of the diseases in developing countries are reducible to polluted water. Big water treatment plants are not possible in rural areas because of the sparsely settled environment. A group from "Engineers without borders" from Darmstadt decided to develop a system which disinfects water. In Germany one might think that food security is not such a big problem. Indeed hunger is not that obvious in developed countries. Nevertheless even our society has to face food security problems.
